As a video game engineer and developer is it legal for me to have a pepsi machine in game?

We have a small team of 36 people and we are working on our next project, we are currently placing background props around the city we have just finished creating; And we want to maybe put a vending machine here and there as decoration. Is it illegal to have said vending machine say: 'Pepsi', 'Coke' or any other brand name?
