What is the meaning of the poem "simplicity"?

I interpret it to mean. That life doesn't mean fancy clothes, fighting to get to the top rung of the ladder. Being vain, arrogant, showy, needing lots of friends to fawn over you. The best things in life are all around you, they will give you more happiness than you will ever know. In other words the best things are the simplest things.
