I rescued a boxer-pitbull mix who is approximately 1 year old. Recently she tested positive for heartworms.?

I cannot afford the treatment right now, but I don't want to jeopardize her health, as she is the sweetest thing! Does anyone know of any programs that are out there to help pay for this treatment or any reduced-cost treatment programs? I live in North FL... Thanks!
