What to do next???Physics...?

I am currently waiting to start a course at my local college in september, its an Access to Higher Education Level 3 combined science..My goal is after completion of this course i can hopefully gain entry to a local university and obtain a degree in physics...My problem is im 30 years old and start to doubt myself thinking ive left it too late,am i being realistic with this asperation of mine?..Since a child ive always been fascinated with space and how things work and this have never left me as im as avid about it today as i was as a child..I feel i have a very good understanding about physics such as general relativity and quantum theory through reading,etc, i crave a higher understanding of this and cant wait for my education in science to begin..AM I TOO LATE..any help is welcomed. thanks
