Doctor's, what do you think about having a pt. restraint free hospital?

And whats a justifiable reason for ordering restraints. Considering the patients mental state and physical health and the risk of injury to him/herself and staff. Also what do you think the hospital security's role should be in this situation? Do you respect there professional opinion on the matter?
